Position: Sr. Structural Engineer
Job Location: Niagara Falls, NY

Job Description:
Under general supervision, conducts linear and non-linear structural and dynamic analyses on monopropellant and bipropellant thrusters, propulsion systems, system components and liquid propellant tanks.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include developing detailed finite element models of engines, systems tanks and components, conducting structural and dynamic tests, and evaluating test data to verify the models and hardware designs.

Provide technical support on contractual programs to develop and deliver engines, tanks and propulsion systems to AMPAC-ISP customers and on IR&D programs to develop new designs.

Qualifications:
BS degree engineering with a minimum of five years applicable experience is required. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience in the design, development and testing of liquid rocket engines, propellant tanks, and propulsion systems is desirable. Must have demonstrated capability to work with vendors and customers. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.

U.S. citizenship is required.

Job Description:
AMPAC In-Space Propulsion, a leader in satellite propulsion for designing, testing, and producing rocket engines and thrusters, is looking for seasoned Program Manager. Candidate will be responsible for the overall management of liquid propulsion, electric propulsion, systems and component programs. Responsibilities include program planning, coordination, mitigation of program risks, financial control, technical direction, customer interface, leadership of cross-functional program teams and new development activities. Candidate must possess a BS in Engineering. MBA or comparable advanced degree desirable. Minimum of 7 years experience preferably in the Defense/Aerospace industry. Solid background in Program and Systems Management. Business acumen and ability to work effectively with various levels of customer and company personnel. Candidate must be able to obtain a government security clearance.
