AMPAC-ISP and Georgia Institute of Technology have teamed up to develop and market the Hall Effect Thruster product line based on technology licensed from Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne to Georgia Institute of Technology. AMPAC-ISP is under negotiation to agree on a licensing agreement from Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne. This product line comprises three thrusters ranging from 100 W to 22 kW power, which provide 55 to 65 mN/kW. The T-40, T-140 and T-220 have been extensively tested to map their performance, and efforts are underway to develop flight-weight power-processing units for life testing and flight qualification.
