Our engineers specialize in rapid development and have built one-of-a-kind systems for upper stages and target missile vehicles. We also design and build monopropellant and dual mode propulsion systems for commercial and defense applications, and have capabilities that include thermal and structural system analysis, flow analysis, dynamic testing (vibration) of propellant loaded systems and system hot-fire at altitude.
Our engineers and scientists work continuously to develop systems for future military and space applications, including divert and attitude control systems for controllable-thrust missiles. Our on-site facilities include environmental and performance verification.
Propellant Tanks
AMPAC-ISP’s rolling diaphragm tanks are fabricated from commercially available aluminum alloys – providing a low-cost, lightweight alternative to titanium propellant storage containers. The tanks are easily sized to meet customer specifications and are individually designed to meet pressure, temperature and fluid requirements. The design approach and technology involved have been successfully scaled to tank diameters of more than 30 inches. Our tanks are well suited to applications that require precise CG control or minimum propellant slosh.
